#55. God Spoke To Me

The week that just past was one of the nightmares that I had faced in my life.
My energy literally drained out every day at work.

Yesterday after church, I went out with my parent. They brought me to a green pasture and have dinner there. The water beside the green pasture that we were sitting on was so calm. It was so peaceful. It was just the right place for me to clear off my mind for a while.

After dinner, I was pretty tired and I decided to lie down on the green pasture, looking at the calm water in front of me. For a few minutes, nothing was on my mind. I was worry free at that point of time. How nice!

Not long later, God words flashed across my mind.

“A psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23)

Psalm 23 encouraged me when I am not in a very good mood due to work now.

We just have to pay extra attention to the surrounding around us and we will be able to find out what God tells us.

I am thankful and amazed by how God spoke to me and never forsake me no matter how things may be so bad at times.

Even though it is hard but I must be a good salt and light at work. I know that this is God’s will. I will do my best and leave the rest for God to do it at His timing. I will give thanks to God be it good or bad.
