And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose.

How can we be victorious in mental warfare? First, when unlovely, untrue thoughts inside our minds, we must choose to bring every one of them captive to the obedience of Jesus Christ. Then we must walk by faith rather than by our feelings, thoughts and self evaluation. No matter what our past, God's Word holds this sure promise.
